Anna Lorraine Pantages
Anna Lorraine Pantages
Anna Lorraine Pantages was one of that stories of World War II that I found very interesting. Pantages at a young age was single when World War II started. She graduated high school and had immediately founded a job. She had witnessed Japanese evacuate their homes into internment camps and were so eager to get their belongs. Pantages felt so sad to see her friends and classmates that caused her to have a sense of loneliness. She saw the change of people attitudes as they did everything to help the war. She even saw a school be transformed into being a place for workers to learn new skills to get jobs in war factories. Pantages went through many jobs and skills and had ended up being at National Motor Bearing Company in which the picture was taken in the engineering department. While in her drafting class Pantages met her husband, George John Pantages. Pantages felt very sorry for the men who lost their lives. Pantages greatly appreciates the opportunities that the war offered her and her family that she was able to discover a skill she never thought she had.
